Girls dominate HPU BCom results; Sanjauli student tops state
Girls have once again outshone boys in the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) third-year examinations conducted by Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), the results of which were declared on Tuesday.
Ankita, a student from the Centre of Excellence, Government Post Graduate College, Sanjauli, emerged as the state topper in the regular BCom third-year exams, held in April 2025, securing an impressive 8.64 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
Following closely, Simran from Government College Daulatpur Chowk in Una district secured the second position statewide with 8.62 CGPA. Shivangi Salathia, also from the Centre of Excellence, Government Post Graduate College, Sanjauli, secured the third position, achieving 8.56 CGPA.
Out of approximately 2,538 students who appeared for the BCom third-year exams, a total of 2,324 successfully passed. Notably, all of the top 15 scorers in these examinations were girls, highlighting their exceptional performance. The university has directed students to check their results on the official HPU website using their respective IDs.
