In a proud moment for Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSK HPKV), Dr Ankit Ahuja, Assistant Professor at Dr GC Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, represented India at the prestigious International Training Programme organised by the International Buffalo Federation, which concluded on May 16 in Italy.

Announcing the achievement, Prof Naveen Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of CSK HPKV, lauded Dr Ahuja for earning international acclaim by presenting an innovative technique involving the intra-cervical route for drug delivery in buffaloes recovering from uterine torsion, a critical and life-threatening reproductive disorder. This cutting-edge approach not only enhances recovery and improves the likelihood of successful delivery but also promises significant benefits for livestock farmers.
