Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla released a book titled ‘Say no to drugs, choose a better life’ at the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday. The book is authored by Keshav Ram Lothata, Director, Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti. The book addresses the critical issue of drug addiction and aims to promote awareness.

The Governor appreciated the efforts of the samiti and emphasised the need for a collective fight against drugs. He said drug addiction was one of the most alarming social challenges of our time and initiatives like this play a crucial role in educating and guiding the younger generation towards a healthy and responsible life.

Commending efforts of the society, he exhorted the youth to support this noble cause. Shimla Mayor Surender Chauhan and Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal were also present on the occasion.
