Himachal Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar to inaugurate Red Cross fair in Kullu

KULLU, JUNE 17

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will inaugurate the three-day district level Red Cross fair being organized from June 29 at the Dhalpur ground. HP Hospital Welfare Section Chairperson Sadhana Thakur will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony. This was stated by Kullu Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg while presiding over the meeting organized regarding the preparations for the fair here today.

The DC said that the Governor would also release a souvenir during the inauguration ceremony which would contain information about the activities related to the Red Cross Society. He appealed to intellectuals to send articles for the souvenir.

The officer said the purpose of organising the Red Cross fair was to earn money for the service of suffering humanity by connecting people with Red Cross activities. He said the fair was being organized after many years and it would be celebrated with fervour. Many activities had been included to make the fair attractive.
