Addressing a gathering during the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme at Karlash village in the Rohru Assembly constituency, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) Mohan Lal Brakta today said strengthening and beautification of roads in the constituency would be the main priority of the government.

He said roads in Rohru were damaged during the natural disaster that occurred during the monsoon season last year. He added that the state government had released Rs 3 crore to reconstruct the roads in the constituency.

He said the Congress government had always worked for the interests of the orchardists.

During the programme, the CPS said his priority would be speeding up the development of the area so that all the basic facilities were available to the people.

He further added that steps would also be taken to develop the area from tourism point of view.

The CPS said he was committed to providing all types of facilities at the Civil Hospital, Rohru, so that the people can get proper health care.
