Vikramaditya said, “In the government sector, approval has been given for filling 20,254 posts in two years. Over 12,000 posts have already been filled while the process to fill the remaining posts is underway. Besides, over 25,000 jobs have been created in the private sector. The process to fill around 25,000 posts in the governments sector will start shortly.”

While citing the achievements of the Congress government, the minister accused the BJP leaders of stalling the central assistance to the state by meeting Union ministers. “Jai Ram Thakur went to Delhi on Thursday and met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other ministers. He has continuously been trying to block the central assistance to the state, which is very unfortunate,” he alleged.

Vikramaditya said, “Himachal lacks economic resources. So, the state has been getting central assistance right from its inception every now and then. But the Central Government is now stifling the financial assistance to the state.” He accused the Centre of bias against Himachal and said that while it gave a special package to Jammu and Kashmir in the Union Budget, no help was extended to Himachal, which had suffered massive losses due to the rain disaster in 2023.
