The state government is providing a new overseas employment opportunity for the local youth. The Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) is organising a special recruitment drive for 300 delivery rider posts with Noon Food LLC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

apply through the Google Form link https://forms.gle/t2ewUU4qCykidLWL7 by November 29. The HPSEDC in collaboration with the Department of Labour and Employment and a recruitment agency registered with the Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) was conducting the recruitment drive. The selected candidates would receive a monthly salary of 2,500 dirhams, along with commission and tips amounting to around Rs 70,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

He said that the applicants must be Class X pass, aged between 20 and 37 years, possess the basic knowledge of English and a valid driving licence for gear motorcycles. The candidates must not have deformities on the face or neck and colour blindness was not acceptable. A UAE driving licence would be provided after deployment, for which a fee of 5,500 dirhams had been fixed. The candidates without a valid passport would not be allowed to participate in the exercise. The selected candidates would also have to pay Rs 35,400, as approved by the MEA, along with a medical fee of Rs 1,500.

He said that a one-week recruitment drive would be held in various districts of the state in the first week of December. For the details of the venue and the schedule, the candidates may contact their local Labour and Employment Office or visit the HPSEDC website.
