Guv celebrates birthday by planting Buransh sapling

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla marked his birthday by planting a Buransh (Rhododendron) sapling at Raj Bhawan, accompanied by Lady Governor Janaki Shukla.

He also visited Jakhu Temple to offer prayers. President Droupadi Murmu, CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers, Governors, and other dignitaries extended their birthday wishes.

Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur also conveyed his greetings. A simple ceremony was held at Raj Bhawan, where the Governor thanked the people for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to the state's development. He praised the success of his anti-drug campaign, now a full-fledged movement, and lauded the government's strict measures against drug abuse.
