Governor Bandaru Dattatreya presided over the closing ceremony of the state-level Hamir Utsav here today. He gave away awards to the winners of the kabaddi and volleyball competitions held during the festival.

In the kabaddi competition, the Hamirpur block team was awarded the first prize of Rs 25,000 and a trophy, the Tauni Devi block team got the second prize of Rs 15,000 while the Bhoranj block team was given the third prize of Rs 7,000. In the volley ball competition, the team of Bhoranj block got the first prize of Rs 25,000 and a trophy, the Hamirpur block team the second prize of Rs 15,000 while the third prize of Rs 7,000 went to the Tauni Devi block team.

MLAs Narender Thakur and Kamlesh Kumari, Vice-Chairman of HRTC Vijay Agnihotri, Coordinator of HP Kaushal Vikas Nigam Naveen Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Harikesh Meena, and SP Arjit Sen Thakur were also present on the occasion.
