Hamirpur to Nagoya, pupils bond on Net

The students of Him Academy Public School (HAPS) and Nakamura Senior High School at Nagoya, Japan, organised a virtual cultural exchange programme here today. Dr Himanshu Sharma said the objective of this interactive programme was to make students understand and exchange different cultures and society. She said the students also exchanged ideas on education system and food delicacies. She said both the countries had many cultural similarities yet they appear different.

Students, including Shanaya Rathor, Janvi, Arshiya, Kaustabh, Ananyashri, Shad, Aalm, Mayank Sharma, Atharv Chauhan and Sabhaya Mahajan, of the school participated in the virtual meeting. Yuna Tagta, Miyu Sakaguchi, Momoha Nishimura, Soui Azuma, Niinomi Lemony and Akihito Tanaka from Japan participated in the meeting.

HAPS teachers — Bharti Sharma and Shalimi Malhotra — were key resource persons of the programme.
