Hamipur, June 14

Aditya Rajput, from Jharmani village near Galore in Nadaun subdivision, has been commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army. He was pinned during the passing out parade on June 13 at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

Aditya joined the Officer Training Academy in July 2016. He has joined the Army as a lieutenant in Engineers Regiment. His parents, Balchand Rajput and Urmila Rajput, said Aditya had worked very hard to realise his long-cherished dream of becoming an Indian Army officer.
