Harshwardhan Chauhan, DR Shandil dwell on initiatives taken by Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu govt

Two Cabinet ministers kick-started the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme in their Assembly segments and addressed grievances of people there.
Harshwardhan Chauhan, Industry and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, inaugurated the programme at Barkas in Shillai in Sirmaur district while Health Minister DR Shandil attended a function at Nauni village in Solan district. They dwelt on various development initiatives of the state government in the past one year.
“After taking over the reins of the state, the Congress government has made a successful attempt to bring changes in the system within one-year rule,” said Chauhan while addressing a gathering at Bakras.
He said, “It is the resolution of our government to make the state self-reliant by 2027 and make it fully developed in the next 10 years. Under the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme the government and the administration will be on their doorsteps of people.”
Chauhan said, Our government has fulfilled the guarantee of restoring the old pension scheme for its 1.36 employees.”
