Highlighting the religious and tourism potential of the site, Dr Shandil said the Bhureshwar Mahadev Temple is not only a sacred centre but also a serene tourist destination. He added the government is committed to developing such religious places as key tourist attractions, which would strengthen cultural sentiments and generate local employment and income opportunities.

The minister also inaugurated various sports competitions and traditional wrestling bouts organised during the fair, urging youth participation. He said such events provide a platform for young people to showcase their talent and stay engaged in positive activities, helping them steer clear of drug abuse.
