Health Minister takes stock of facilities at Mandi hospital
Dr Dhani Ram Shandil, Health and Family Welfare Minister, today conducted a surprise inspection of regional hospital Mandi.
During the visit, he gathered information about the health services being provided at the hospital. He emphasised that the state government is committed to delivering accessible and state-of-the-art healthcare services to the public.
The minister directed the hospital management to ensure that adequate staff and various health services are available, urging them to focus on improving treatment and essential facilities for the patients.
He also took the opportunity to inquire about the functioning of the de-addiction centre in Mandi. Shandil highlighted the collective responsibility to protect the youth from the scourge of addiction and emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts for the treatment and rehabilitation of addicted individuals.
