The higher and middle hills of the state will receive fresh snowfall on February 10 and 11. As per the state’s Meteorological Department, light snowfall and rain are very likely to occur in Kullu, Chamba, Mandi, Kangra, and Lahaul and Spiti districts for the next two days. Weather is expected to remain dry across the state for the next seven days. Besides, maximum temperatures are also likely to rise by 2°C or 3°C in many parts of the state during the next 24 hours. Additionally, minumum tempertaures are expected to drop by 2°C or 3°C in the mid and lower hills in the next two days.

Meanwhile, the weather was largely dry across the state in the past 24 hours. The minimum temperature in state’s capital Shimla was 7.6°C, Dharamsala (5.8°C), Manali (4.9°C), Dalhousie (8°C), Solan and Bilaspur (4.5°C each), Kangra (7.3°C), Mandi (5.7°C), Chamba (6°C), Sundernagar (4.6°C), Bhuntar (4.1°C), Paonta Sahib (9°C), Kalpa (-0.1°C), Nahan (8.1°C) and Barmour (4.9°C).

Una with 27.2°C maximum temperature was the hottest place in the state while Keylong was the coldest at -5.5°C.
