Yashovardhan Attri, a student of Him Academy Public School (HAPS), clinched three gold medals at the sixth District Yoga Championship held yesterday. He was also declared the Best Yogasana Player in the 14–18 years age group.

A total of 12 students from HAPS participated in the event and secured 14 medals, including nine gold, four silver and one bronze. Principal Naina Lakhanpal expressed pride in the students’ achievements and informed that seven gold medalists—Adityashis Shauri, Anshuman Guleria, Devashish Shauri, Anika Gupta, Siya Sharma, Inaya Atri, and Yashovardhan Attri—have been selected for the upcoming state-level Yogasana competition.

Silver medals were bagged by Twishi, Gaurav Thakur, Devanshi and Aradhya, while Dishant won the bronze medal. The students received a warm welcome from the school staff and management upon their return.

The school community lauded the students’ dedication and the coaches’ efforts in promoting yoga excellence.
