Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today launched the first OTT platform of the state — HV Cinema, produced by Himachal Pradesh-based production House Himalayan Velocity, Shimla.

Sukhu lauded the efforts of the company for launching this platform. The Managing Director of the company, Pushpraj Thakur, was also present.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also released a song on awareness on synthetic drugs titled ‘Nashe Se Tum Door Raho’, produced by Shimla-based social activist Taruna Mishra. He appreciated the efforts of Taruna Mishra and said that the state government had taken many initiatives to bring awareness about the ill-effects of drug abuse. He urged the youth to keep away from drugs to make a constructive and healthy society.

He said that social activists and NGOs could supplement the efforts of the government to awaken society. Every section of society should come forward in combating this menace, he added. — TNS
