Himachal CM targets Kaul Singh Thakur over development
Mandi, July 11
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today targeted senior Congress leader Kaul Singh Thakur over development issues.
The CM said Kaul Singh had done nothing for the district despite being in power for many terms. Now, Kaul Singh was alleging that nothing had been done by the government in Mandi district.
“The state in general and Mandi district in particular has witnessed the unprecedented development during the tenure of the BJP government. A medical university, state university, Shiv Dham, Dev Sadan, etc, are among the projects that have been started in the district. The new building of Government College, Mandi, will be opened within two months. Efforts will also be made to provide better parking facilities in the city,” he said
‘Samvad Sadans’ were constructed at the Secretariat in Shimla, Mandi, Solan and Dharamsala so that people would meet the Chief Minister or other minister for the redressal of their grievances. He said Samvad Sadans were also coming up at Manali and Una.
The CM also held a closed-door meeting with representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions and urban local bodies here.
