Speaking at a special lecture on drug awareness, the DGP encouraged students to spread the message of a drug-free life within their families, among friends and in the wider community, thereby safeguarding the younger generation from the scourge of narcotics.

Alerting students to the devastating and deep-rooted consequences of drug abuse, Tewari said it is not merely a bad habit but a deadly trap that robs young people of their dreams, health and family happiness.

He called upon the youth to channel their energy in a positive direction, reminding them that success and respect are earned through discipline and determination. “Drugs make you weak, but determination and discipline can make you invincible,” he said.
