The HP High Court has listed the matter regarding operationalising the trauma centres at different hospitals of the state on September 10.

During the course of hearing, the Additional Advocate General of the state government placed on record instructions received from the Special Secretary (Health) along with status of Level-II trauma centre at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, in Kangra and status of Level-III trauma centre at Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba, informing therein the steps taken by the state in this regard.

After taking on record a division bench comprising Justice Vivek Singh Thakur and Justice Ranjan Sharma listed the matter for further consideration on September 10.

In its earlier order, the court had directed the Secretary Health to file status report informing therein the status of completion of construction work of the trauma centre at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital at Tanda (Kangra) and Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba.

It further had also directed the Secretary to inform the status of purchase of equipment and procurement and completion of recruitment process in the said Centre.

In compliance to this direction the state has placed on record the information in this regard.
