Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh led the 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' programme at Devidarh village in Nachan Assembly Constituency, Mandi. Addressing locals, he reaffirmed the government's commitment to resolving everyday issues and delivering welfare benefits efficiently.

A total of 24 grievances from eight panchayats were recorded, with 13 resolved on the spot. Singh assured personal monitoring of unresolved issues and emphasised monthly revenue adalats for speedy settlements.

The minister prioritised road development, announcing that under Phase IV of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 1,500 km of roads have been sanctioned for Himachal, including 48 roads in Nachan. He urged residents to expedite forest and land clearance processes. He also directed the preparation of a DPR to widen the Chail Chowk-Devidarh road under CRF to boost tourism and economic activity.

Singh highlighted Rs 9.5 crore being spent on the Chail Chowk-Gohar-Pandoh road and Rs 50 crore from NABARD for upgrading four major roads. He said all villages with 200-250 population would be connected within two years.
