Himachal Pradesh Guv issues notification for budget session

The Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla issued a notification on Tuesday convening the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha, beginning March 10.

The notification was issued on the recommendation of the cabinet. The budget session will consist of 15 sittings and will commence with the Governor’s address on March 10.

The Vidhan Sabha also issued a notification for the budget session. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Pathania stated today that with the issuance of the formal notification, legislators can now begin filing their questions to be raised during the session.

“The Chief Minister will present the budget for 2025-26 on March 17,” he said.

“March 22 and 27 have been designated as Private Members Days, during which MLAs can raise public issues concerning their constituencies.”
