Pankaj Kumar, a student from the Department of Sociology, secured first place in 100m race, while Rahul from the Department of Hindi stood second in javelin throw. Ravish, another student from the Department of Hindi, bagged third place in the race, while Rahul Kumar from the Department of Commerce stood second in shot put.
Sixty differently abled students from across the state participated in the games. The winners will represent the university at the national-level para games.
Congratulating the students and their coach for remarkable performance, Prof Mahavir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, HPU, assured full support for their future endeavours.
Dean of Student Welfare (DSW), Prof Mamta Mokta also congratulated the medal winners.
