The State Department of Horticulture made a significant mark at World Food India 2025 held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 25 to 28. The global food processing exhibition featured over 1,700 exhibitors, 500 international buyers and delegates from over 100 countries.

Himachal Pradesh showcased its rich horticultural diversity, including apples, stone fruits and value-added products, drawing the attention for quality and innovation. In its 4th edition, the event aimed to position India as a global food innovation and investment hub.

Highlighting the state’s progressive approach, Vinay Singh, Director of Horticulture, said, “Himachal’s vision is to integrate innovation with tradition, ensuring farmers prosper while delivering world-class produce.”
