The festival of Holi was celebrated by thousands of devotees with flowers and colours at Nurpur’s historical Brij Raj Swami temple. The two-day celebrations concluded on Sunday afternoon with an immense religious fervour and enthusiasm.

The temple is situated in the historical Nurpur Fort — a monument of the Archaeological Survey of India. The people of the lower Kangra region have deep faith in Lord Krishna.

Eminent folk singer Ishant Bhardwaj regaled the audience with his Pahari and devotional songs. His performance forced the gathering to dance on the thrilling Pahari songs.
