Shimla, April 19
Two IPS officers, Manav Verma and Rohit Malpani, have been selected to highlight the outstanding work done by them during Covid in Baddi police district in the All-India Police Science Congress (AIPSC), the highest professional body related to police work.
It is for the first time in the history of the AIPSC that the HP officers are being recognised nationally and internationally. The science congress is organised by the Bureau of Police, Research and Development, Ministry of Home Affairs every year.
This year, the 48th AIPSC is being organised on April 22 and 23 in the Central Academy for Police Training (CAPT), Bhopal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the APISC while Governor of Madhya Pradesh Mangubhai Patel, will be chief guest.
