“The state is currently under a debt of Rs 95,000 crore. In such a situation, the state government is fully committed to generating resources and reduce ing expenses, for which many initiatives have been taken,” he said.
The state government had the political will to fulfill all guarantees it made to the people of the state, he added.
“The country’s longest and the world’s second longest ropeway will be built in Shimla at a cost of Rs 1,735 crore. It will be 14-km-long and cover most parts of the city,” Agnihotri said.
