HP varsity extends deadline to submit PG admission forms

Himachal Pradesh University has extended the deadline for submitting online application forms for admissions in various post-graduate courses via entrance test to May 5.

Earlier, the last date to fill up the forms was April 30. However, the deadline was extended so as to facilitate applicants who were unable able to do so before. Applicants have been advised to fill up the forms on or before May 5.

The forms are available on university’s official website, and applicants have been advised to contact the university for any query. On April 11, the university had announced that it would be conducting entrance tests for subsidised and non-subsidised seats in various post-graduate courses.

The courses include MSc in physics, botany, zoology, chemistry, mathematics, environmental science, micro biology and biotechnology; MA in geography, social work, English, physical education, Hindi, Sanskrit, performing arts, economics, sociology, public administration, political science, psychology, history, yoga studies, rural development, visual arts (painting) and journalism and mass communications; master of education (MEd); master of physical education (MPEd); bachelor of laws (LLB); master of commerce (MCom); MBA in rural development; MFA in Pahadi miniature painting; master of tourism and travel management (MTTM); five-year integrated course in tourism and travel management (FYICTTM); bachelor in hotel management; master of computer applications (MCA); and MTech in computer science.
