Shimla: Himachal Pradesh University extends deadline for UG admissions

In a bid to help students who could not apply for admissions in undergraduate (UG) courses on time, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, has extended the deadline for applications for admissions in colleges — government and private — under the jurisdiction of the university to July 31.

A notification regarding this order was issued here today, through which all college principals were directed to comply with the order.

The university had been receiving requests in this regard from students, principals and various students’ organisations.

Earlier, the university had set July 15 as the deadline for undergraduate applications.
