HPU to provide online services via Samarth ERP

In order to ensure efficiency and transparency in online services, Himachal Pradesh University is set to shift its online services to Samarth Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) on the lines of Delhi University.

Samarth ERP is an e-governance platform that has been developed by the Ministry of Education under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology for institutions for higher studies across the country. The platform allows the institutions to deploy a digital framework for planning, management, delivery and monitoring of services for students, staff and stakeholders.

BK Shivram, Dean of Students, Himachal Pradesh University, said “The process of shifting to Samarth portal is underway and it will be available soon. The services will be provided in a phased manner. For this, the modules of the existing data will be shifted to Samarth portal.”
