HRTC discount for women on online ticket booking too
Shimla, July 14
The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) will offer 50 per cent discount on bus fare to women passengers even if tickets are booked online.
Earlier, HRTC was offering the discount only when the ticket was purchased by women passengers physically.
“The HRTC has enabled 50 per cent discount to women passengers in ordinary intra-state buses on HRTC advance reservation portal with effect from July 14,” said an HRTC spokesperson.
The spokesperson said that women passengers can book tickets of Himachal Road Transport Corporation ordinary intra-state buses in advance on HRTC website www.hrtchp.com by availing 50 per cent discount.
