Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today said that the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) had resumed its mini bus (tempo traveller) service on many routes in disaster-hit Seraj of Mandi district. He added that the resumption of these services would provide great relief to the people of the area, who were struggling in the absence of transport facilities following the rain disaster.
“Now, the HRTC is operating tempo-traveller service on various inaccessible routes, including Bagsyad, Janjehli, Chhatri, Sarachi, Thunag and Chiuni Chet,” said Agnihotri.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the tempo-traveller service had been linked to the HRTC bus service at Bagsyad, which would provide easy access to other destinations to the passengers. Agnihotri added that the state government was committed to restoring all essential services on priority in Seraj.
