IIAS publications presented at Vision for Viksit Bharat

A team of Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS), Shimla, showcased its research and publications at the Vision for Viksit Bharat (VIVIBHA-2024) event, held from November 15 to 17 at SGT University, Gurugram. Organised by Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, this national conclave was attended by researchers, educators and institutional representatives from across the nation.

At the event, IIAS Director Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari delivered an address on the confluence of Indian knowledge traditions and modern research. Students from schools, colleges, and universities expressed keen interest in the institute’s research fellowships and academic programmes.

They appreciated the resources available at IIAS’s library, and its emphasis on interdisciplinary research.

IIAS representatives actively engaged in sessions focusing on education, rural development, and Indian knowledge traditions. They shared perspectives on integrating traditional Indian wisdom with modern governance and educational practices.

Reflecting on the event, Tiwari said, “Events like VIVIBHA-2024 provide an excellent platform to present Indian knowledge traditions on a global stage. Such initiatives inspire our researchers and academicians to contribute significantly to the vision of a developed India rooted in cultural heritage and academic excellence.”
