The three-day technological festival Meraki 2025 was inaugurated at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una, marking the third edition of the event in the past three years. Over 800 students from premier institutions, across India, are participating in the fest.
During the opening ceremony, IIIT Una Director Prof Manish Gaur welcomed the guests of honour — Prof Manikant Paswan, Director of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab, and Prof Anil Kumar Tripathi, Director of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali.
Prof Gaur said Meraki 2025 provides a platform for students and innovators to share their passion for tech and innovation. He noted for the first time, the festival has attracted participants from national-level institutions.
