IIT Mandi’s tech carnival a melting pot of ideas, innovation, collaboration

IIT Mandi’s XPECTO’25, the third edition of its annual technological festival, concluded on a high note, cementing its place as one of the most anticipated tech events of the year. Powered by Innovation Labs by Fetch.ai and co-powered by Boston Scientific, Masai, and HPDT, the three-day fest drew over 500 participants from over 70 colleges across India, offering a dynamic platform for young innovators to push the boundaries of science and technology.

The final day of XPECTO’25 was packed with excitement, kicking off with a thrilling IPL Auction, where participants combined their investment acumen and cricket strategy. The energy soared further with intense Robot Racing competitions, drawing tech enthusiasts eager to showcase their engineering skills.

XPECTO’25 was more than just a festival—it was a melting pot of ideas, innovation, and collaboration, reinforcing IIT Mandi’s position as a leading hub for technological excellence. As the curtains fell, participants departed with newfound knowledge, unforgettable memories, and a deeper appreciation for the transformative power of technology.

A workshop by Climate B Ventures explored the intersection of technology and sustainability, sparking insightful discussions among students and experts. Meanwhile, gaming competitions kept the adrenaline high, while an open-air movie screening provided a refreshing break for attendees.

The festival concluded with a grand closing ceremony, celebrating the achievements of participants and announcing the winners of various competitions. The excitement peaked with a musical extravaganza, featuring performances by the band Firdaus, singer Akhil, and an electrifying DJ Night, bringing together participants for a night of music, dance, and celebration.
