Covid surge continued with 1,773 new cases being reported in the state in the past 24 hours, taking the active infection tally to 8,115. With this, the total positive cases have reached 2,38,355. There was one death in Sirmaur, taking the toll count to 3,871. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
