In a first, endoscopic disc surgery done at Tanda medical college

In a first, an Endoscopic Disc Surgery has been performed at Tanda medical college. Congratulating the Department of Neurosurgery and Anaesthesia over the achievement, medical college principal Dr Bhanu Awasthi said with constant support of CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ‘full endoscopic -disc surgery’ was performed at the Department of Neurosurgery on January 29.
The surgery was performed on a 50-year-old man from Chamba who reported at Neurosurgery OPD with slip disc problem. The surgery was performed by Dr Mukesh Kumar, Neurosurgeon and a team of Department of Anaesthesia comprising Dr Bhanu Gupta, Dr Mahesh.
