India’s action sent strong message to terrorists, Pak: Ex-Chief Minister

Religious preacher Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj and former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur participated in the Tiranga Yatra in Ghurdaur in Manali subdivision of this district today. The event, organised by the Vishwa Jagriti Mission, witnessed an overwhelming turnout with a large number of locals joining the celebration in a vibrant display of patriotism and unity.

During the gathering, Jai Ram Thakur addressed the enthusiastic crowd, highlighting the significance of the Tiranga Yatra in the wake of the successful Operation Sindoor. He stated that India’s resolute action in the operation had sent a strong message to both terrorist forces and the Pakistan government, demonstrating the nation’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty.

The LoP remarked, “Tiranga Yatra is a way for the countrymen to pay homage to our brave soldiers, express our respect towards them and proudly declare the success of Operation Sindoor.” He emphasised that the movement has gained tremendous traction across the country, with people from all walks of life enthusiastically participating to showcase their unity and patriotism.

Earlier in the day, the former CM paid a visit to Sadhana Dham Ashram in Ghurdaur, where he sought the blessings of Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj, the revered spiritual leader. This visit underscored the deep-rooted connection between faith and national pride, further enriching the essence of the Yatra.

Meanwhile, Upper Valley Bachao Sangathan president Narantak Sharma met the Leader of Opposition, submitting a memorandum voicing concerns over the ongoing survey of the Bilaspur-Leh railway line being conducted by a Turkish company. He urged authorities to reconsider the involvement of foreign agencies in such a crucial infrastructure project, stressing the need for a thorough evaluation of its potential impact on the region.
