Krishan Kumar Choudhary — a resident of the Ghandran village of Indora subdivision in Kangra district — on Friday retired as an inspector in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) after serving for 39 years. During his service tenure, He received a whopping 54 service medals and awards.

Choudhary received 39 cash awards, three Good Service Entry awards, two Police Special Service medals, two Parakram medals, two DG Insignia Silver and Gold medals, 4 ITBP’s commendation certificates and 2 DG ITBP awards during his 39-year tenure in the ITBP.

He also received 6 Insignia Gold and Silver medals, and citations for excellent services.

As per information, he retired from ITBP’s 51st battalion (Patiala).
