Industries Agro Corporation registers Rs 33 crore turnover in five months

Earns a net profit of Rs 93.34 lakh (pre-audit), says Revenue Minister

Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi today said that Himachal Pradesh Agro Industries Corporation Limited had achieved a turnover of Rs 33 crore (pre-audit) and earned a net profit of Rs 93.34 lakh (pre-audit) during the first five months of the current financial year.

Negi, while chairing the 262nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the corporation here, said that during the same period in 2024-25, the corporation had recorded a turnover of Rs 40 crore and a net profit of Rs 92.25 lakh. “The net profit of the corporation is expected to increase further by the end of the current financial year,” he added.

The minister said that the main sources of revenue of the corporation included the trade of petroleum products, lubricants, tyres and tubes, cement and cattle and poultry feed.

He added that the corporation should not only strengthen its activities in the interest of the farmers but also take up innovative initiatives. He asked the officers concerned to explore the possibility of setting up a new petrol station at Nurpur in Kangra district.
