The infighting in the BJP was exposed at a public meeting in the Jaswan-Pragpur Assembly constituency yesterday, said Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, former HPCC president and Nadaun MLA, here today.
He said that when works desired by Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur were not being done, how could common people expect their grievances and requests to be addressed. He added that Anurag had exposed the working of the government and testified the allegations of the Congress that the bureaucracy had taken over the reigns of the state.
Sukhu said that the Central university was founded by the previous Congress government but the work on the project had been delayed due to the indifferent attitude of the BJP government. He added that the BJP was misleading people on development projects started by the previous Congress government and the Central university was one of them.
He said that the work on the medical college campus in the district was started three years after the laying of foundation stone by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
