The HP High Court has directed the state health authorities to inform the court how many staff nurses have been transferred from the IGMC, Shimla, to elsewhere after December, 2023 and whether the said incumbents have been relieved or not. It further directed the authorities to furnish the details in view of the communication issued by the state government on September 4, 2023, which mandates that in case the transfer has been ordered, the consequential steps for relieving shall be taken not later than two days from the issuance of the said order.

The court listed the matter for further hearing on February 29.
