Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani today directed the HP Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) to complete all ongoing projects expeditiously. He said that quality training should be provided to trainees by making the best use of machinery and equipment. He presided over a meeting of the Department of Technical Education, HPKVN, HP Technical University and the HP Technical Education Board here.

He said, “A dedicated cell should be created at the directorate level for internship and placement. New-age technical courses should be started and by reviewing the courses, new subjects should be introduced.” Dharmani directed the Technical Education Department to organise a ‘technical festival’, in which all professional institutes should participate and showcase the work done by trainees in the field of engineering and technology.
