In a separate incident, 20-year-old Rohit Kumar, son of Chander Bhan from Tikri Kalan, Delhi, has gone missing in Chhalal, a scenic village known for its trekking trails and riverside paths. Police suspect that the youth may have accidentally slipped into the Parbati river, which runs perilously close to several trekking routes.

Search operations are underway with divers deployed in the river and multiple teams searching on forest trails and riverbanks. “We are making every effort to trace the missing tourist. The possibility of an accidental fall into the river cannot be ruled out,” said ASP Chauhan.
