Jalandhar man killed after car falls into drain in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamsala
Dharamsala, August 18
A native of Punjab’s Jalandhar was killed after his car fell into a drain on Kharota road leading from Dharamsala to Mcleodganj, officials said on Sunday.
The deceased Arun Kumar, who was driving the vehicle, had come to attend a program in Yol with his family.
According to officials, the car rolled down the road after Kumar lost control of the vehicle. Some locals helped in retrieving the victims from the car.
While Kumar died on the spot, his wife and children sustained injuries.
Kangra ASP Hitesh Lakhanpal said that after the postmortem, the body of the deceased will be handed over to the family. We have registered a case, he added.
