Shimla, April 19
Reliance Jio, one of the largest private mobile data networks, has launched the JioAirFiber services across the 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh.
As per a company spokesperson, the JioAirFiber, which is an integrated end-to-end solution for world-class latest home entertainment, smart home services and high-speed broadband, marks a significant enhancement to the digital landscape of the state.
The spokesperson further said the service is available in 57 towns of the state, including the difficult terrains like Jari, Banjar, Keylong, Shillai, Rohanda, Thunag, Banikhet, Reckong Peo and Rajgarh etc.
“It will overcome the challenges of last-mile connectivity and connect every home, hotel and small business in these areas, which earlier did not have the access to quality home broadband due to the complexities and delays involved in extending optical-fiber to their premises,” he said.
