Juvenile walks away from shelter home, traced and brought back
A juvenile allegedly involved in a murder case briefly went missing from the Juvenile Home in Samoor village of Una district but was brought back safely shortly afterward.
According to a press release issued by the Una police, the juvenile—originally a resident of Khagadia district in Bihar—had been brought to the facility just a day earlier. He was booked under an FIR registered on April 14, 2025, under Sections 103, 115(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The juvenile was later spotted moving around in Una city and was promptly located and returned to the home by officials of the Child Protection Department. Further action is being taken as per protocol, police said.
