Kajal Rai Sadana, a native of Mandi district, has fulfilled her lifelong dream by being commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. She was honoured with this prestigious rank during the passing out parade at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, bringing immense pride to her family and the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Kajal’s journey to success has been marked by perseverance and determination. After completing her higher secondary education at DAV Centenary Public School, Jawahar Nagar, Mandi, she pursued an LLM (Master of Laws). However, her true passion lay in serving the nation through the Army.

Despite failing to clear the SSC (Short Service Commission) exam for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) branch twice, Kajal remained steadfast. On her third attempt, she secured the top position nationwide, proving her resilience and dedication.
