She conceived the idea for this venture in 2021 and now, she has announced the date for the launch of her cafe. She tweeted on social media platform X, “A childhood dream comes true, my little cafe in the lap of the Himalayas. ‘The Mountain Story’ is a love story. Opening on Valentine's Day, it is not just a place to eat — it's a celebration of heritage and heart. A perfect blend of Himalayan architecture, cozy interiors and pahadi flavours.” She added that she was delighted to witness the majestic beauty of the region near her café, with herds of sheep passing by. She expressed her happiness by posting all these pictures on social media.

The cafe is housed in a large structure built with wood and stone, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and adorned with antique artefacts. The design has been curated by Shabana Gupta, who previously worked on the decor of Kangana's other properties in Mumbai and Manali. Apart from the cafe and restaurant, Kangana has recently purchased land in Manali with the intention of building a hotel, signalling her interest in the hospitality sector. Moreover, she is also involved in several other business ventures, which are being managed by her sister.

Kangana’s cafe is surely going to emerge as a crowd drawer and her fans will surely not miss the opportunity to visit the place during their visit to Manali.
