Kangra girl set to research in Alabama varsity

Samridhi Surial from Ladoh village of the Panchrukhi area has got admission in the University of Alabama in Huntsville, United States of America, with a scholarship for research on water treatment.

Samridhi completed her schooling at Shivalik Public School, Panchrukhi, and Vidyapeeth School, Baijnath. She graduated from Delhi University and later completed her postgraduation in Materials Science and Chemical Engineering from IIT-Mandi.

Samridhi credits her success to the support and encouragement of her grandfather Maan Singh and grandmother Gyano Devi. Her father Rakesh Surial works in the private sector and her mother Vedna Devi is a homemaker.
